Well, I hear so much from working moms that I work with and my friends about feeling guilty, feeling guilty. And, the first thing I wanna say is that guilt is not helping anyone. So, how can we shift our perspective about what it is that we're doing? Right now, when we feel guilty, we have an idea in our head of what we should be doing in this place, in that place, in the other place, and we're not meeting our own expectation. So, we've created kind of a story in our head about that and it causes this thing we called guilt which takes us nowhere. My suggestion is change the story. What if for an hour or for 2 hours, you adopted the story I'm giving more than enough? I am enough. My children are fine. My job is great. I do a wonderful job at all the things I do. What if you adopted that and what would it change in terms of your behavior at the office and with your family? And, give it a try.
