So a lot of women come to me an they say that when they factor in the cost of child care they decide to quit their jobs, because they've done the math and their job doesn't pay much more than the baby sitter does and so it just doesn't make sense to keep working. Now here is the problem with that. That's flawed math. More than 50% of women, who want to return to work force can't. So what that means is that when you are factoring in the cost of those five baby years when you're going to need a baby sitter versus what you're going to make in those five years. That's not the math you've got to be doing. You need to be doing the math of those five years of child care versus your future earnings. So every year in the future you're going to work until you are 70-80 years old, against those five years of child care. That's the math you should be doing when you decide whether or not you can afford to quit your job.
