I sometimes cringe when I see the media image of a working mom. When you go to Google images and you type in working mom, you see a mom that looks very harried and she is balancing a baby bottle and a briefcase and a computer and it looks awful and no one would want that life. But the life of a working mom is really nothing like that. It is momming and working and momming and working. It is a seesaw. Your going back and forth between your worlds all day long. And that is okay. And that is fun and that could be very fulfilling and that is what being a working mom is really like. It is not a juggle it is a seesaw. One of my favorite tips for working moms is, "What to wear?" Wear something that is not very stain-able. You'll never see me wearing silk. And wear something that you can go back and forth between drop off and pick up and working and meetings and dinner out with your spouse. Wear something that you can have all day long for that mommy back and forth seesaw.
