I think the way that a mother of a lot of kids can pamper herself is doing the things that you did before you had kids, be it manicure/pedicure, massage, a walk around the block, a cup of coffee.
When my kids were really little, I didn’t have a lot of money, so I would do my grocery shopping at 10 o’clock at night with my best friend and we’d go to a 24-hour grocery store, go shopping, and then we’d have a cup of coffee. And so that was my break from my kids and I got to connect with my friend.
