A limited budget shouldn't limit your ability to travel internationally. Right now there are so many social networking institutions - Apartment Swapping, Online sites and things like that offer almost free travel, when you are overseas. The most expensive part of a travel, international travel. The thing that's not going to change is the airline price. But, if you do it the right time of the year, if you are willing to go through things like price and all that. Overseas travel for family of four should not cost more than a new flat screen TV. So budget should not be a deal killer, when it comes to international travel. There were countries that offer great value for travel; places like Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos are great places to travel cheaper than it cost to actually live in this country. The other thing I think you have to remember is, when you are with a family of four, you don't necessarily be eating Restaurants and things like that. When you do these apartment swapping deals and I have friends who lived in suburban Minneapolis who are able to swap apartments in place like Paris and Barcelona, you can live like a local. And living like a local in certainly in place like Barcelona is a lot cheaper than living like a local in Los Angeles.
