Your partner had an affair, and your children know. How they found out was not your doing, and now you've got this unbearable burden of having to talk to them about it. What do you say? Here is what you say, you want to be married and so this is the greatest opportunity to teach them forgiveness.
Now if your spouse is cheating all the time, that's a different story, but if this was a one-time occurrence, and you want to stay in the marriage, and you want to stay as a family, then talk to your children about forgiveness; what it means to make mistakes and what it means to be human, because we all are, and we all do, we make mistakes and we are human.
