I'm Dr. David Brodzinsky, I'm a clinical and developmental psychologist. For over 30 years, I've been teaching, doing research and clinical work, mostly working with children who are adopted and fostered and their families. I've authored 6 books in adoption; I'm also the research director for the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute, which is a policy and adoption education organization in New York City.
I'm married and I live in Oakland, California with my wife Anne, who's also a psychologist. In our family, which is a blended one, we have 5 children, 5 grandchildren and 2 dogs. In my spare time I'm a golfer, a potter and an avid reader of mystery novels and cookbooks. I'm a chef in the family.
