Transcription:
We actually have a great relationship with our birth mother. We feel very blessed. She has been in contact with us throughout Simone's entire life. She's more like a family friend to us. We send her pictures, we text, we talk on the phone, and not a week goes by that we're not talking with her in some way. So we feel very lucky. We know a lot of people after the birth, the birth mothers kind of disappear and they're not in their lives. And we enjoy that; we like having our birth mother in our lives and we hope that our relationship continues throughout Simone's life.
