When you are trying to get pregnant for the second time around, this might be a time when you have very young ones around the house. I think the very first thing you want to work on is your sleep.
The common problem that most of my patients have during this period of time is just not enough sleep or interrupted sleep. Sometimes that is not possible, but the truth is sometimes it is actually manageable. You need to figure out ways that you can work with your child, work with your young one to soothe themselves to sleep better because if they sleep better, you sleep better.
The second is your support person, your partner, that might be with you. Have a partner help you out. Sometimes the partner can take part of the night, and sometimes the partner can let you off the hook on the weekends. Those are the things that you can really work through. A little more sleep, even a little less interrupted sleep, will help you out a lot.
I'm going to say that's the very first thing that I would do with my patients when they are really getting ready for a second child.
