Well, everybody thinks, they're good multitasker, but they are really not, Studies show that we're actually pretty bad multitaskers and it's also really important for parents to enforce boundaries around homework time and sleep time, those are the two essential times that kids absolutely should not be multitasking. It's really important that parents model good digital behaviors, so you've asked your kids keep their phone off, then you should keep your phone off, too. Kids are actually pretty poor multitaskers and if their school is suffering and they are not sleeping as well as they should be, then multitasking may be the culprit. So you should set some limits around when it's ok to be on the phone or on Facebook or playing a video game and when it's not. Be very clear about what those limits are and set some really sacred, saint times for homework and sleep.
