Transcription:
If you suspect your child is involved in a gang, firstly there are several signs of what that might look like, namely an extreme drop in grades, tattoos, hand signals, an increase in phone action, texting, emailing, out late at night, sometimes for several days maybe they go missing and really a severe change in behavior. So what a parent needs to do is talk to the child, open the lines of communication, create trust because if the child does not feel like you have their back, like the parent has their back and really wants the best for them and loves them, again unconditionally, and is so key for so many of these points is that the child feels loved unconditionally. So talk to the child. Ask questions. Find out what is happening in their lives, what is happening at school. And create that. It might not happen overnight but over time. And it could be a surprisingly short period of time you could really get to know what is happening in your child´s life.
