Pimps are con men, and the ability to control more than one prostitute is part of the con game. Its important that they pair the girls in two and they always keep an even number of prostitutes. When they pair them in twos they pair opposites, the oldest with the youngest, the heaviest with the thinnest, the smartest with the one who is not quite as sophisticated, the one who has a lot of street smarts, the novice, and sometimes you throw a lesbian in there and that will work too. He will tell each girl that he loves her the most for different reasons, you're the prettiest, you're the most loyal, you're the one i want to have my baby. The girls compete in terms of his expectations so if one of the girls finds out he's had sex with another girl and she confronts him, he says, look she knows that if you leave me that she will step into your position and reap the rewards that we've all worked so hard for because its you
