It's really wonderful if a child is concerned about their grades and wants to do really well in school. There is a time to be concerned if they are putting a lot of pressure on themselves. If they are so worried about their grades that it's affecting their social life, if they get a stomach ache or headaches because they are so worried about their grades. If they feel like they are sick and they are overwhelmed with school work or they are worried about what their grades are going to be. Those are times when you want to be concerned about the amount of anxiety and the amount of pressure they are putting on themselves.
