The first thing I would say to any parent who has just found out that they have a newborn or an infant that is disabled and is experiencing this multitude of what they would probably say negative emotion, it´s okay. This is natural. You are human. Give yourself time. Talk with other people. And I always go back to saying educate yourself. And the reason I say that is because with education, you enlighten yourself to the real issue at hand. And that issue is that you have a kid is going to need a lot of your time.
