I think the objective of every parent who has a child with special needs is to have the child mainstreamed in education. That's the ideal. Taking a reality check, there are special needs that are needed for the child with special needs. They are going to need quite intensive therapy, especially in the earlier part of their life. It's about making a decision which is beyond what you would personally love for that child about what is best for that child. Where they are going to get the best care for that child. We are very blessed that many of the schools actually have an aide for the child. I believe that is a regulatory requirement to have an aide for the child with special needs and challenges. That's an option; to be mainstreamed, but with an aide.
