My child attends a mainstream school. He always has from preschool. He's currently in first grade now.
I just feel it's so important if your child can be mainstreamed as much as possible, because they just learn so much from that environment with the teacher, with the children. He picks up things that just amaze me every day. And sometimes you can only learn how to be a kid from another kid. And it's just invaluable with what he learns in a mainstream class.
