Once you get the diagnosis of Autism, one of the first things a parent can do without even having to get involved with a doctor, is to remove all foods that contain gluten and all foods that contain anything that comes from a cow. Any dairy products, whether it be butter, they have to read the labels to make sure there is no casein or whey in the products. It seems, in my clinic, about 80 percent of children are sensitized to those two products: gluten and dairy. By the removal of it, you can eliminate diarrhea, constipation, gas, bowel pain, night time awakenings. It's amazing. So I recommend to every parent, once they get the diagnosis, they remove all gluten and dairy. That means no cheating. That doesn't mean just a little. It's 100 percent like a light switch, remove it all, and you have 80 percent chance of improving your child's Autism right there. It takes a couple of weeks, but it's worth the wait.
