Kids love asking questions and why shouldn't they? The world is fantastic things. It's full of fancy things and new colors and shapes and things that change and things that move. If we were new to this planet Earth, we would have a lot of questions, too. It's important when kids are asking questions, to find out what it really is that they really want to know. I once heard a boy ask his dad on a plane, "Dad, how are planes made?" He was probably about four. It's important that we get clarification from kids, what do they really want to know because I am certain that kid didn't need a whole lecture on engineering. Asking for clarification is a first step. What is the real question we are asking here? Parcel the information out in small bits. Kids don't really need a full explanation of how a plane is made. They just need little bits of information, and let them ask for more when they have more questions.
