So grief doesn’t really have any timeline. It doesn’t matter if you had a miscarriage two weeks ago, six months ago, a year ago – it’s important just to let the grief ebb and flow as it comes. Just really recognize that you’re going to have good days and you have bad days and when you have those bad days, just allow yourself to have it. If you can take a mental health day from work, do so. Take some time out to really reflect on what this loss means to you. Journal, take a walk – do whatever it needs to take to really set with those emotions and then write them down, talk it out to get them through, so that you can move through the journey of grief and heal. Recognize that this is just a normal part of the healing process. And that as your grief journey is unique, so are you and your timeline is yours.
