The cost involved in getting inseminated via sperm donor vary. It really depends upon your method of getting inseminated. I had an intrauterine insemination, which is an IUI. And initially I had planned out for the cost between ten and twelve thousand dollars. I lowballed that because it actually cost about $20,000 dollars and in that price is not only the vials of sperm which I say cost between $1,200 to $1,500 dollars. And that is if you get pregnant the first time, great. But if not, you have to continue buying those vials of sperm. The subscription to the bank and then my insurance, i am self-employed. So my insurance is not great. I have a high deductible so that deductible was involved in terms of doctor´s visit and blood tests and fertility meds, which is involved in the process as well. In terms of like invitro fertilization, I really can´t speak to that knowledgeably but I know that the actual insemination process costs between seventeen and twenty thousand dollars but that only includes the insemination process. It doesn´t include the sperm and the doctor´s visits and fertility injectables and things along those lines. So it is costly and that is why you need to make sure that this is something you ultimately want to do and plan for.
