Tips for baby bath time
The best way to give your baby a bath is; first, make sure the umbilical cord has fallen off so you can fully submerge the baby in water. When you put the baby in the bath, make sure the water from the faucet is always running at the baby's core, from the chest to the belly button or that you have a warm washcloth that you can lay over them to keep them from getting cold. In the meantime, you may need to have a towel in the dryer that is getting warm for them, so when they get out of the bath, they are ready for a nice warm bath towel. The other thing is, don't be afraid of the baby's soft spot in his skull. I know it's soft and it's scary, the thing is, the baby's head needs to be scrubbed. So use a nice, soft bristled brush, and make sure that you scrub the top of the head; otherwise, they will get cradle cap. You don't want to scrub too hard, but give it a nice vigorous scrub and you'll be good to go.
