Since I've had kids, I've really had to learn how to ask for help. It is not in my nature. It's in my nature to figure everything out on my own and do it myself. I've learned that, not only does it help me when I ask other people -- like friends or family, even neighbors -- I realized that it opens up my children's world to having other experiences and having other adult influences in their life. It's benefited me as a mom, benefited my kids, really, my whole family; to ask for help.
