There are many challenging that you might face as a breastfeeding working mother. One of the biggest challenges is finding time to pump at work. They are required to provide a place, but in a profession like mine, teaching, you only get two breaks during the day; recess and lunch. If you want more of a break, you would have to ask someone to cover you. You do have to find a way to do that, otherwise, you could get engorged and could find yourself leaking; which has happened to me in front of my students. That is embarrassing. You don't want to find yourself in that situation, so talk to your supervisors and see what you can work out. For me, I have a teaching partner that is really supportive. She'll allow me to have extra time if I need it.
