Women who are pregnant with twins are often, understandably, apprehensive about whether or not they have the ability to feed two babies. And they certainly do. Nature gave women two breasts in case we had multiples. It certainly takes some learning and it's a little bit tricky in the beginning. We really encourage moms to learn how to what we call tandem nurse so that they sort of football the babies and they're on the breasts at the same time. Otherwise mothers are pretty much always breastfeeding. But if you have willing babies that can drive a good milk supply, women are absolutely capable of fully nourishing babies without any formula supplementation. You can do it.
