I believe the only way I’m going to be able to give my children good values is to model them, to show them what those good values are. I remember being told one thing and seeing something different. I’m not interested in doing that. I want to show my kids this is what you do. So when someone offers something to my child and she’s 2, and she doesn’t know to say thank you, I don’t prompt her to say thank you. I just say, “Thank you,” so that she becomes aware enough at an older age, she understands – someone gave this to me, I appreciate it, I say thank you. And they just naturally do that.
