So one of the questions I am always asked is how do you get your family on board and well, it doesn't happen overnight and it shouldn't happen over night. But most of the time what happens is mom gets on board right away. She wants to get healthy and wants to get the family healthy. But the family is like woah, wait a minute, we like our life the way it is, you know, don't touch our things. So it's going to take a long time and it's going to be a process. What I do not recommend is going to the cabinet and taking everything out and throwing it away. I recommend on being sneaky. So you focus on one thing a month, okay. So one month you say I am going to switch the bread to wholewheat you know, and you do that. And it's little by little and so you kind of like trick them and you do little, tiny itty bitty things. And over the period of years the next thing you know they are going to be eating kale smoothies, you know. But they are not going to do that overnight. Now with your husband, your husband is going to be the hardest one because chances are he is not going to be in this. So there's 2 things I recommend, first thing is I recommend not to be a nag, because men don't like nags. You are going to role model behavior and you are going to do it silently with love, and you are just going to be that rock of health. And the second thing I recommend is when your husband does make some positive healthy changes, you reward him in the bedroom with a little bit more sex.
