The principle philosophy of Chinese medicine is very simple. It is that the body can heal itself. Nature has given us the ability to heal. We just need to respect that process and help the body's ability to do so.
Everything that we do from acupuncture, that stimulates self-healing, self-regulation, as well as herbs, nourish and help in the healing process. It's all about working with the body and the person.
We also deal with their emotional states and their emotional issues. Again, we are an entire being and we can't just treat one area and ignoring other aspects.
How does it work? It's very simple. The body knows what to do when it comes to healing process. If you cut yourself, your body will heal over, scab with fibrous tissue, over approximately a week's time. Even if you don't do anything. You just need to keep it clean. Your body has an innate healing capability.
Going back to Chinese medicine. How does it work? It's based on this principle, helping the body to heal itself.
