I avoid packaging when I buy online. When I buy online, I usually go to eBay to buy something used or pre-owned because it does not create a demand to make more. It does not put a strain on our resources. For example, when I shop on Ebay for all of those used items, such as, or one of the Christmases my son wanted a chessboard. I looked on eBay. I actually had looked in thrift stores and could not find a chessboard. I was, basically, forced to buy online. I looked on eBay and I found one. When you actually shop on eBay, you have to make sure that you click that little box on the left-hand side of the screen where it says "pre-owned" so that you make sure you are getting something that's used. Then when I do purchase the item, I place a note or a message to the shipper to make sure that he only sends it in recyclable packaging. I ask for no plastic and that they please only ship in paper or cardboard.
