Regardless of our views about the food system and how we choose to feed our families and children, I don't think anyone would disagree that we should all have the right to know what we're eating and what we're buying. JustLabelIt.org was founded with that premise. You have the right to know what's in your food. You have the same right that citizens in 64 other nations around the world, really progressive countries like Russia and China and Saudi Arabia have. Over 60% of the world's population has the right to know what's in their food. Just not here in America. And we need to tell our President. We need to tell our Congress. We need to tell our state legislators. We need to tell the FDA that we deserve and we have the right to know what we're eating. This is not about what's in our food. This is about whether our nation is of for and by the people, us, or of, for, and by five chemical companies who do not want us to have the right to know. We used to debate and argue whether we should have fat, sugar, salt on the food label. Believe it or not, companies used to argue against that. Now parents understand that the label is a critical part of making decisions where there are concerns about allergies or diet or what have you. This is just another of those concerns.
