We were a family that was very comfortable. We were doing very well. We lived in a nice neighborhood. We had 2 cars. My mom was the primary bread winner for our multi-generational family. And I stayed home and took care of my grandmother. And we didn't have any needs. We were just fine. And then my mom unexpectedly, and without any warning, lost her job. And we were then to forced to live off savings. And they tell people that you should just have 6 months of savings in case something happens in this economy, but it's scary. When it takes longer than 6 months sometimes to find a job. And then you find yourself desperate. What are you going to do? How do you pay for your food? How do you pay for your home? And that's when you have to realize that you are not alone. This is happening all over America. And there are ... the Government has programs that can help you.
