Even now, my children prioritize sleep. It’s very sacred in our family. And we are each other’s support system. If they see my schedule, and they see I have a very early start, they will text me and say, mommy are you going to bed? And I do the same to them. So that’s a very essential part of how we can keep ourselves healthy and able to deal with obstacles and challenges. Also, I’ve been meditating regularly, and I’ve encouraged my daughters too. And each one of them in their own time have taken up meditation. And it’s been really great to see them. They start with 5 minutes a day. Introducing a practice into their lives that I know will be really helpful as they get older, and maybe I’m not around, to have something they can tap into that can help them go through whatever difficulties life brings.
