Hello. My name is Santa Claus, Dr. Claus - it's an honorary degree. I take care of Christmas for a lot of children. 1.3B of them roughly, to be roughly exact. I bring presents to the nice ones, not so much the naughty ones, but there are exceptions. I live in the North Pole. That's where I do most of my research, my study, my work. I have a contingency of elves. And a lot of people think those elves don't really exist. But let me tell you, they exist, and they eat us out of house and home. The prices have gotten enormous. The hourly is ridiculous. In my free time, mostly, Angry Birds. It's delicious. You pull the thing and they go whee! And heaven to whoo and they hit - I love the Angry Birds.

Santa Claus

Father Christmas

Santa Claus, also known as Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas, Kris Kringle and simply "Santa," is the man behind the gifts on Christmas. He makes the list of children throughout the world, categorizing them as either naughty or nice, and delivers them presents including toys and candy on Christmas Eve. He wiggles his way down the chimney of each home, drops off the presents and feasts on the cookies and milk typically left out by the children. Santa lives at the North Poll along with the elves who make all of the toys, and his reindeer who pull his sleigh.

Santa is played by American film director and producer Jon Turteltaub. He's directed several mainstream films, including 3 Ninjas, Disney's The Kid, National Treasure, and his latest, Last Vegas. Jon Turteltaub is married to Amy Eldon and resides in Los Angeles, CA.
