My name is Jill Smokler, and I am owner of the website, scarymommy.com, as well as author of the books, Confessions of a Scary Mommy, and Motherhood comes Naturally and Other Vicious Lies. I am mother to three kids, Lilly, Ben and Evan, who are nine, seven and five, and are a complete and utter handful, but I love them anyway. Before I had kids, I was a big reader, I would spend insane amounts of time just gobbling up books and relishing every page. Now that I have kids, I don't think I could name you the last adult book I read. If I ever have a moment of peace and a moment where I would have otherwise curled up with a book, I just want to sleep. That is all I want from life now is just to sleep. I don't get enough of it, I always need more, so when I am not parenting, writing and running around doing a million other things, I am sleeping, which pretty much never happens.
