Transcription:
Children both young and old actually will still have fantasies of their parents reunited and coming back together as a family. What you can do as a parent is be consistent with your message. Let them know I know you don´t like this, I know you don´t agree with this but this is the decision that´s been made. Anticipate having to say that over and over and over. Be consistent with your message. Keep saying the same thing like a broken record. I know you don´t like this but this is the decision that´s been made. Listen and talk with your children. Let them know I want to talk about how our lives are changing. How are you feeling? Let´s talk about it. It let´s them that know you care about their feelings and that although divorce is happening and it´s not going to back, that you care about how they feel. Children need to know that no matter what they are loved and safe.
