Well, there are a couple ways that families find services for kids with attachment problems. I first would mention the organization called ATTACH and their website is attach.org and they have registered clinical members all over the country, and actually the world, who provide attachment therapy. The other way that many adoptive families find services for their kids is online through chat rooms for adoptive families, other adoptive families because adoptive families really, for the most part, do their homework and identifying the kind of therapy and services that are appropriate for their family. Most of our referrals come, I think, from word of mouth, that people know people and they've been going to an adoption support group, or their adoption worker has given our name, and if they haven’t come early enough into the placement they often come years later saying, “We heard about you before we adopted, however, we didn't really do anything and now we think it’s time that we seek the right kind of therapy.”
