I think as a culture, we put enormous pressure on moms to be perfect and put on a happy act and act like motherhood is just the easiest, most fulfilling thing in the world. I think if we all just drop the act and really just be more honest about the challenges we face and how difficult it really is, it would only benefit all of us. Stop posting perfect pictures on Facebook, stop documenting only the best things on Pinterest, just be real and we can all sort of join the club of imperfect mothers, it's a much more relaxed place to be. If you see a mom struggling, instead of just rolling your eyes, if a baby's screaming on an airplane, step in. We've all been at that point where we just want to close the door and scream, where we feel like we're just the worst parents in the world. And if we support one another through that, that only helps us all.
