If your preschool age tells lies, it’s age appropriate. Most 4-year-olds are trying to figure out between the real world and the pretending world. So if it’s something that is out of control, it’s a great time to have a conversation and to talk about what’s real and what’s not real. And it’s teachable moments are the best way to teach them what’s the difference between lies and reality.
