Some people might say that there's absolutely no evidence that genetically engineered foods cause harm, and without labels they're absolutely right. It's why the industry has fought so hard to keep these labels off of our food supply, because if you label these ingredients, suddenly there's traceability, there's accountability and there's liability. As you look at the statistics, you look at the runaway rates we are seeing in pediatric cancers and the rates of children with autism and the rates of children and adults with food allergies, and you correlate that to the introduction of genetically engineered foods into our food supply and the record amount of chemicals that are being poured onto those crops. A correlation is not causation, correlation absolutely merits investigation.
